Science Escape Rooms

A science escape room that runs itself. Students work through locked rooms in the browser; each lock only opens when the science is right, so a wrong answer sends them back to the evidence, not to you. Nothing to print, no logins, nothing to grade. Share one link through Google Classroom or a QR code and it runs on Chromebooks, iPads and laptops.

The 15 digital science escape rooms here cover the topics middle-school teachers ask for most. Start a unit with the Lab Safety Escape Room (Grades 6–9), then the Scientific Method Escape Room, its hypothesis and variables companion, and the Fair Test and Experimental Design room. Physical science: Forces and Motion (Grades 3–5), Kinetic and Potential Energy, Electromagnetic Spectrum, States of Matter, Physical and Chemical Changes, Ionic and Covalent Bonds and Dimensional Analysis. Earth and environmental science: Human Impact on the Environment and Human Impact on Oceans.

Teachers use them for unit review, test prep, sub plans, early finishers and lab days when the lab is not available. More than 90,000 students played a Kiwiland escape room in the last school year, and Kiwiland resources hold a 4.84-star rating across more than 10,000 teacher reviews.
