Long Division CSI Math Mystery Detective with The Divided Monster

Math Mystery Kiwiland Education Division

Welcome to Monster School, the only school in the world where monsters and humans can learn together! But lately, something strange has been happening. One of the students, a monster named Squirmy, has been acting peculiarly. He's been divided into two different parts: a left part and a right part.

When Squirmy is asked to count, his left side counts forward, and his right counts backward. When Squirmy is asked to add two numbers together, his left side adds the numbers, and his right subtracts the numbers. When Squirmy is asked to draw a picture, his left side draws a picture of a cat, and his right side draws a picture of a dog.

Principal Spookington is spooked! She doesn't know what's wrong with Squirmy, and she doesn't know how to fix it. But she knows that she needs your help to work out who has done this to poor Squirmy.
